2014/15 New year skiing in the Alps
Les Vuargnes is a respected address in Morzine. It is located on a quiet residential street with parking immediately outside. It is a secure gorgeous space with a south facing ground floor terrace that leads out onto luscious shared garden. Les Vuargnes patio doors give our guests views of the distant peaks of Avoriaz and the village of Montriond below.
Les Vuargnes has been renovated in summer 2016. Each guest has chocolate and wine waiting for them as a gift upon arrival.
It is a 4 sleeping apartment, that includes two adult sized bunks and storage. There is also a large fold out sofa bed in the central living space which has good quality mattresses. We have an electronic pull down black out blind which promises a good night’s sleep. We have a large plasma flat screen TV which you can lie in bed and watch. We have local French TV (no Sky or satellite) and a huge range of DVD's suitable for family and friends viewing. Free Wifi is also available.
The kitchen has all mod cons for a self catered holiday experience. There is a fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven, microwave and dining space for 4 at a table by the back patio window. Our first floor position means you can chill out on the terrace on good weather days.
Our newly refurbished bathroom has a washing machine/dryer. We also offer bedding and towels at £25 p/p.
In the corridor we have floor to ceiling wardrobe space and a boot drying rack. There is plenty of storage space to unpack properly.
The whole apartment has underfloor heating.
Downstairs in our apartment block is a wet area for ski and boot storage and to change out of wet clothes.
In the basement we also have a secure storage cupboard where you can put cases and extra sports kit/boards/skis/boots etc.
Parking is free and immediately outside the building with space for our guests. There are also bike racks there.
Local Amenities At the bottom of our street is CASINO, a newly renovated supermarket. It is less than 5 minutes walk from our front door.
The high street where all the main bars, shops and restaurants are, is within 8-10 minutes walk. Turn left out of the apartment and walk up the road, take a left and you can eat/drink at Bec Jaune, a bar and restaurant that does veggie dishes and brews its own ale. A little further along you can find Rotunde, a French restaurant with a great atmosphere, just like L'Etale on the high street, a big favourite with all visitors. Monsieur Gravier's ski shop is great for hiring kit. It's opposite my favourite French bar, Le Crepu. Coup de Couer is the best wine bar in town. A huge terrace opens out onto the town square which leads to The Pleney. For fine dining Atelier in the square opposite Tourist Information is fantastic and for fashion, I recommend shopping at Slope Style which is down towards the town square. Also on that street at the bottom is Dixie's for big screen sports on TV.
The best bakery in Morzine is 5 minutes walk from our apartment. Take a right out the front door, turn right at the bottom of the street and walk 5 minutes to Bon Bonnerie. It now has a cafe in the back for coffees, freshly squeezed orange juice and stunning patisserie. For more treats close by we do love the Honey shop for all things honey, Icorie for gifts and Chez Miladou for delicatessen treats.
Les Vuargnes is close to both bubble lifts. Left out the apartment and left on the top road takes you to THE PLENEY BUBBLES where you access Morzine, Les Gets. Right out of the apartment and right at the bottom of the road takes you to the SUPER MORZINE BUBBLES which give you access to Super Morzine, Switzerland, Nyon, Chatel, Avoriaz.

Cleaning is charged at 40 pounds. This will automatically be added to your booking fee.
BEDDING/TOWELS: £25 per person (optional if you wish to bring your own) (Pack includes plumptuous body towel, hair towel, bedding for one plus tea towel, bath mat)
