We've been coming to Morzine, in the French Alps for the last 9 years now. It's a fantastic resort and with Avoriaz close by, has a great snow record. The Portes du Soleil is one of the largest ski areas in the world and has something for everyone, from lots of super cool jump parks, to wide open easy blue runs, from the frighteningly steep 'Swiss Wall' to gentle pistes through the trees.
We stay at Chalet 'Skade' this is an old farm house. It has three rooms of 3, two rooms that are twin or double. Your host lives with you and is on holiday with you.
We have a huge open fire, flat screen TV, wonderful balcony with views across town, laundry facilities, a sauna, oh and did I mention a HOT TUB in the garden
