More than your average Chalet, we go the extra mile… service with a smile Chalet D’Amo is a 12/13 bed chalet situated on the outskirts of Morzine part of the wonderful Portes du Soleil ski area, great for winter or summer stays.
The accommodation price includes a hearty breakfast and we can rustle up dinner on request most evenings for an extra charge. The chalet also has secure garaging for mountain bike storage in the summer and laundry facilities if needed.
Chalet D’Amo is located 2km from the centre of Morzine, a picturesque mix of old traditional village and modern ski resort, the chalet is surrounded by mountains and forests. It is a traditional alpine lodge with accommodation set over 3 floors to accommodate up to 13 guests. You can reserve one room or the whole chalet from either one night to longer stays on a B&B basis.
A regular bus service passes the chalet into Morzine centre and we also provide regular shuttles to the lifts and resort centre. There is plenty of parking for self drive guests. Please note that the owners have a well behaved and friendly dog in the chalet.
Refurbished in September 2004 the chalet has new wooden flooring on the ground and first floor bedrooms. All bathrooms have stylish fittings and tiled flooring. The chalet has copious hot water and has thermostatically controlled heaters in each room.
On the ground floor there is a large dining room seating 12 - 14 around a large communal table. The lounge area has a wood burner which keeps it cosy in winter and summer and a TV with all UK free view channels. There is also a music system with ipod docking station.
Outside there is a large secluded garden with views of pasture, mountains and forests. In the summer there is a barbecue area with table, sun loungers and hammocks. The chalet is non -smoking.
Room 1 A large bedroom with twin beds with ensuite shower/WC with access to balcony this room can also take another bed to sleep 3.

Room 3 Twin room with ensuite shower/WC.
Room 4 Twin bedroom.
Room 5/6 A large suite of rooms suitable for families or a group of four/five with double bed and single bed. This room has a balcony with views of the mountains and forests. These rooms all share a large shower room/WC. There is a separate WC on this floor.
Morzine is a great resort for short breaks and longer stays. It takes just over an hour from Geneva to Morzine which is well serviced by all major airlines.

Just over an hour from Geneva and ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and MTB.
