Apartment to sleep 6/7 
The apartment is very well equipped and the kitchen has just been totally replaced to include a dishwasher, fridge, four-ring halogen hob, mini oven/grill, slow cooker, kettle, teapot and radio/cassette/CD player take your own tapes and CD's.

Radio Val on 96.1FM provides snow and lift information in English in the mornings and evenings.

There is a double bedroom, a bunkroom with double bunk beds, and a lounge with two large divans that convert into either three single beds or a double and a single. Sleeping seven is a little crowded, but manageable. All beds have continental quilts.  The bathroom and separate toilet are due to be totally renovated in autumn 2007 with all-new fittings, concealed lighting and heated towel rail.

You can choose between parking under the building for around €55 per week or in the open at the foot of the Funival which was free last year.

Location - Ski back to the other side of the roadOur apartment is on the ground floor facing East and South, five minutes walk from the Funival; even less to the chairlift or gondola giving access to the new high speed 8-person Toviere lift over to Tignes. The Funival is a high speed, large capacity lift taking less than five minutes to reach the summit of Bellevarde which is at the heart of Val d’Isere’s skiing and from where the first Men’s Downhill race of the season starts. 

There is a ski hire shop in the apartment building which gives a discount to residents. Ski school, supermarket, shops, etc are a three minute walk and there is a good choice of local, quality bars and restaurants as well as a take away pizza facility in the hotel opposite. The supermarket will loan raclette apparatus if you buy their cheese.

The free bus service stops right outside the apartment starting around 8am and running about every 5 minutes until 6pm, then every 15 minutes until 8.30pm, and half hourly until about 2am.
