The town is bustling with a number of bars, cafés, restaurants and a variety of shops. After a long day on the mountain, why not stop in Morzine on the way back to your chalet or apartment and sample what's on offer!!
Activities
Mountain biking: With 380 kms of mountain trails to bike on and chair lifts to get you started, the area has become well known for its terrain. Many events are hosted here, including the World Cup Downhill in Les Gets and the Avalanche Cup in Morzine. Mountain bikers can use these courses throughout the summer, along with the other courses in the Portes du Soleil. There is also the Free Raid which is available for all to enter in early summer. This is a race for the all round riders (downhill and cross country) which takes you all over the area.
Cycling: The Tour de France passes through Morzine regularly and the local mountain roads provide testing routes for the enthusiast.
Golf: For the golfing enthusiasts, there are courses at Les Gets and Avoriaz and just 40 minutes down the valley the international course at Evian, with the spectacular course at Chamonix just over an hour away.
Swimming: Morzine has an Olympic size swimming pool open to the public. There are also lakes at Montriond and Les Gets where you can swim.
Parapente: Morzine is one of the venues for the World Cup. For those who fancy a flight for the first time, a tandem flight can be arranged for about £35.
River Activities: The River Dranse is well known for its water activities. White Water Rafting and Hydrospeeding (floating down the river headfirst with a float) can easily be arranged and are exhilerating experiences for those who have not tried them before.
There is also canyoning available for those who want to test their nerve, jumping into rock pools and abseiling off
bridges and waterfalls.
Other Activities: Horse riding, summer luge, tennis, ice skating, crazy golf, fishing, devil carting and mountain boarding.

Morzine By Road
Morzine is one of the closest and easily reached alpine areas from the UK. Driving to Morzine is very simple. There is motorway from Calais to within 30km of Morzine. The 535-mile journey can be completed in approximately eight to nine hours. Allow approximately £35/54euros each way for road tolls. Fuel is cheaper than in the UK. The choice for crossing the channel lies between the ferries and the Eurotunnel.

Airport Transfers
We can offer you transfers from Geneva Airport to your accommodation in Morzine and back again. Our new minibus is fully insured and maintained to an extremely high standard and has high quality snow tyres for your safety. All our drivers have lived here for sometime and are used to driving in snowy and icy conditions and so you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
The transfers from Geneva take around 1hr 15mins in good weather conditions - this can be longer if it's snowing or during busy periods.
