The chalet is situated approx 1.2km by road from the old centre of Morzine where the supermarket, post office and several bars and restaurants are situated and it is possible to walk in to town in 10 minutes, taking a short cut opposite the chalet.  The “D” bus stops 30m from the front door for getting to the centre of town and to the Pleney slopes and the “A” bus stops 150m down the road for getting to the Avoriaz cable car at Les Prodains.   Les Berots has a sunny position on the south-facing side of the valley, right at the bottom of the main road which links Morzine to Avoriaz. 

  At ground level there is parking for 2 cars, plus a lockable garage with ample space for mountain bikes.  There is a large boot / storage room with washing machine.  Up 1 flight of stairs is the open plan lounge / diner and kitchen.   Full-length windows overlook the Pleney slopes and the town centre, and there is a south - south-east facing balcony on both sides of the lounge, with space for sun lounging. The kitchen has dishwasher, full size oven and 4-ring hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.  The dining table seats 8.  The living area has armchairs and a long sofa which doubles as a sofabed.  There is flatscreen TV with UK freeview channels, a DVD player, stereo and a woodburning stove.  

Up a half flight of stairs is a large bunk bedroom with wardrobe and desk; a WC; and up another half flight of stairs is the large bathroom which is fully tiled and has bath, WC and handbasin, and washing machine, with a Velux window in the sloping ceiling.   Next door, at the front of the chalet, is the master bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and balcony overlooking the town towards Nyon.  Up a further half flight of stairs is a twin bedroom with Velux window and bedside table.

The bedrooms have all been redecorated end of summer 2008. The lounge furniture has all been changed June 2009.

  The chalet has electric underfloor heating with convector radiators in all rooms, and electric water heating.   A cot is available if required.

Cleaning included in the rate in Winter. In summer it is 40 extra

Deposit Details:
25% payable at the time of Booking, balance due 8 weeks before departure
