About Morzine

The town is bustling with a number of bars, cafés, restaurants and a variety of shops. After a long day on the slopes why not stop in Morzine on the way back to your chalet or apartment and try some of the great aprés ski that's on offer - don't be surprised to find yourself up on a table dancing!!! In the winter, the 'Pleney Stade' piste is lit up at night twice a week for evening skiing and sledging. The indoor ice rink is open to the public and also holds ice hockey matches every week - Morzine are now in the national premier league so it's a spectacle which shouldn't be missed. There are also two cinemas which play English films in the winter if you fancy a quiet evening.

The Ski Area: Portes du Soleil

The Portes Du Soleil is the largest linked ski area in the world, and is made up of 14 French and Swiss resorts in the Alps. It boasts some 650km of piste in the winter along with over 300km of marked mountain bike trails in the summer.
