The chalet is only a short walk from the centre of Méribel. Situated on the East side of the valley the chalet has wonderful views towards the Tougnete side of the mountain.

The chalet's accommodation is on 4 floors spread over 460 square meters of living space and sleeps 14 people in six large king/twin and one king room en-suite with bathroom with showers over or separate showers. They range in size from 11.5 to 18.5 sq meters. Additionally on the ground floor there is a bunk room with shower-room which is suitable for up to four small children. It is also possible to have extra beds for up to 5 young children in several rooms if required.

On the main second floor the enormous 80 sq meters sitting/dining room is the heart of the chalet. There is a central open log fire between the sitting room and dining room. Ample seating in the dining area for 14 guests and the sitting room is double height open to the mezzanine above and faces south with views through the large picture windows which open on to the sun terrace. The chalet also has an outdoor hot tub.

On the mezzanine will be a small office area with computer facilities and a broadband wi-fi network, an additional small television area and a quiet area where you can relax away from the main sitting room.

On the ground floor, which is where you enter the chalet, is located a ski room with heated boot warmer, glove and clothes dryer/warmer, sauna, cinema/ games room and garage.

The owners of the chalet intend to finish the chalet to a luxurious standard with finishings sourced both locally and from England. Local wood and stone will feature prominently with luxurious furnishings and furniture. Bedrooms will be carpeted throughout and each will be decorated individually. Beds will be king size zip and link Hypnos beds to give you that perfect nights sleep. The sitting room will light and airy with comfortable sofas and floored with extra wide oak floorboards.

The chalet will simply be one of the most luxurious and best located chalets available in Meribel.

Chalet Kouneli is equipped with a selection of games and videos but do feel free to bring your own along with CDs, DVDs and cassettes. Please also bring an indoor pair of shoes. Purple Ski provides a complimentary minibar that is available 24 hours a day and is stocked with beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks and mixers, but if you would like to bring some spirits with you, please do so 

the day starts with a good breakfast of fruit juices, coffee, a choice of teas, yoghurts, cereals and porridge with fresh milk, eggs, jambon cru, cheeses, fresh bread and freshly baked croissants and jams.

On your return from skiing a tea of fresh home made cakes and biscuits awaits you in the sitting room.

Dinner is the piece de resistance. On your first evening you are welcomed by a glass of champagne and then you can enjoy an exceptional four course meal to delight any gourmet, rounded off with real coffee, a glass of pineau and home-made truffles.

Of course tea, coffee and fresh fruit are available at any time along with Purple Ski's complimentary bar of beer, wine, selected spirits and mixers.

In order to confirm the reservation in addition to the booking form we require a deposit of 25% of the cost of the holiday. This deposit is NON REFUNDABLE and can be paid by cheque, credit card or bank transfer.The deposit may be made by different credit.

Linen Details:
Linen, Towels and bathrobe are provided with a midweek change.
