This premier chalet is just 250m from the Les Houches pistes, Chamonix's World Cup venue and one of only two ski area's in France able to host the race. Once the village Smithy this beautiful chalet retains an essential French charm but it also offers excellent facilities and home comforts.

Your holiday enjoyment is paramount so we include a comprehensive minibus service. Everyday of your holiday we will transport you to the various ski areas in the valley and back, take you for après ski and out to Chamonix town in the evenings. Why stomp to the slopes for 10 minutes by foot or sit on a sweaty ski bus when you can be chauffeured to the bottom of your favourite ski lift in warmth and comfort.

Each bedroom is ensuite or enjoys it's own private, adjacent bathroom. In some of the bathrooms we have used beautiful Italian limestone tiles. The Forge has bags of character in a French chic style and is enhanced by our collection of lovingly collected ski memorabilia, books, vintage ski's and original posters. We've also included every home comfort to make your stay a real pleasure; a sauna, Satellite TV, WiFi  and SKYPE. Our talented French cook and chalet hosts offer a friendly yet professional service.

This is an ideal property for large groups, yet some of our best weeks are full of couples and singles too.

Our extra's are standard; crisp white bed linen, bathrobes for the sauna, exclusive L'Occitane bath products, slippers, fluffy towels and bottled water. We cater the chalet on 5 evenings a week with a delicious 4 course dinner with wine. On the chefs nights off we'll drop and collect you from your chosen restaurant.

The Forge is on three levels

Ground floor

A spacious living room with an oak floor, black and red leather sofas set cosily by the fireplace and open-plan to a charming panelled dining room. The traditional mountain ambience of a classic Alpine home has been recreated using reclaimed wood and stags antlers.

1st floor

Entrance, heated boot room. Galley kitchen, sunny breakfast room with rustic hand-made pine table and benches. We serve a delicious buffet style cooked breakfast here each day.

All bedrooms have their own facilities either an ensuite shower/wc or adjacent bath or shower with wc.

Prices are quoted per person and include; Return group transfers from Geneva, daily in-resort minibus service till 23.00
Breakfast and afternoon tea 7 nights, delicious evening meal with canapés, aperitifs and good wine on 5 nights. For families we provide 'kidz high tea', on 6 nights, allowing adults to eat out alone one night Single supplements apply to individuals staying in a double room.

Cleaning:
Housekeeping and concierge services are included everyday of your holiday except on staff day off.

Deposit Details:
GBP100 deposit per person. Balance payable 10 weeks prior to arrival.

Linen Details:
Towels, bathrobes for the hot tub & Linen are provided.

Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept Debit, Maestro, Bacs payments and Cheques for balance payments. Groups must pay in a single transaction. We accept all major Credit cards except Amex. For balance payments via Credit cards there is a 1.6% processing fee.
