Chalet Lapye is a welcoming family-friendly chalet, located just minutes from the Les Gets pistes and the vast Portes du Soleil ski area.

Your day at Chalet Lapye starts with tea or coffee delivered to your room before breakfast. Waiting for you downstairs is a freshly cooked breakfast to your choice- freshly made croissants, fresh bread, orange juice, cereals, porridge - and a cooked breakfast of your choice.

When you return from your day's skiing you will find tea, coffee and cake waiting for you - maybe even some home made cream scones Take this opportunity to watch the sun set on the mountains and take in the wonderful view from Chalet Lapye across the village and of Mont Chery.

Our cooks have considerable experience and are professionally trained. Children's meals can be provided early, or they can eat at the same time as the adults - whatever is best for your family. The evening meal consists of three courses followed by cheese, coffee and mints with wine served throughout the meal. We pride ourselves in being able to cater for special dietary requirement, particularly vegetarian and vegan, so please don't hesitate to ask. Our staff have one night off a week, on this evening there will be a simple pizza meal with wine. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are available at any time.

Chalet Lapye is comfortably furnished with a log fire and balconies offering fantastic mountain views. We have a DVD library in the main Hastings building of some 200DVD's as well as English Sky TV; there is also a Nintendo Wii for evening entertainment.

All rooms are cleaned and beds are made daily, guests have use of a washing machine and dryer in the laundry.
We will arrange for your ski passes to be delivered directly to us, waiting for you when you arrive. We can book a ski and boot fitting appointment for you at the chalet if you wish, to save you going to the shop. We know all the local ski schools and can advise on booking lessons.

For families with small children we can provide lifts for your children to the ski schools, baby equipment, cot and bedding, high chair, carrier - backpack style, changing mats. We can offer a baby sitting service as well small extra charge. Children are made most welcome at Chalet Lapye and we don't charge for children under 2 staying in their parents room and children under 16 are 25% off.

Our lifts are not restricted to children; although the piste is just a few minutes walk away many people do not like walking on tarmac in ski boots, so we give lifts to the ski school/lifts/piste, as required. We can also drop you off and pick you up in the evenings if you feel like some night life - although many people enjoy the short walk and amazing views.
