Its wood and stone interior exudes alpine charm and with breathtaking views across the valley from the balcony, it really provides a wonderful winter holiday experience.  

It has a spacious living/dining room with a lovely log fire, around which guests can comfortably gather after a hard days skiing to watch a movie on the surround sound home entertainment system, surf on the internet, or just enjoy the first drink of the evening before dinner is served.

 The chalet it built on three floors, with the kitchen/living/dining room on the top floor, two bedrooms with ensuite on the entrance floor, and two bedrooms with ensuite on the ground floor. Each of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with duvets and two pillows for each bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the sitting room which increases the capacity so that single groups of 10 can be accommodated. There is one chalet manager an assistant that run The Estive who live out.

We consider the quality of cooking to be one of the most important aspects of a chalet holiday, therefore a lot of focus is directed at ensuring that our guests receive delicious home-cooked food and wines which have been specially selected by us.  Fully catered holidays include cooked and continental breakfasts, afternoon tea and evening meals served on 6 days. The Powder White chalet staff have one day off per week.

Your holiday will be begin on your first evening with complimentary champagne and canapes.  Thereafter, each day will begin with a hearty breakfast – You have the choice of an English bacon and eggs or Continental Croissants breakfast, both served with freshly-brewed tea and coffee, cereals, porridge, freshly-baked bread and jams, yoghurts, chilled fruit juice and fresh fruit.

When you return from a hard day on the piste, you can collapse into a comfy chair and help yourself to an afternoon tea of freshly-baked cake or home made biscuits with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. 

In the evenings, we create a more casual dinner party approach so that you can fully relax, unwind and enjoy a meal at your own pace at a time to suit your group.  The evening will start with compliementary wine and canapes followed by a creative and delicious 3-course meal with a choice of both red and white wine. For those who have a little space for more, there will be a selection of local cheeses available and the evening is then finished off with fresh coffee and chocolates.

Deposit Details:
A deposit of 150 per person is payable at the time of booking. Balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.
