Located under the breath taking views of Mont Blanc, Chamonix is known as one of the best ski ing areas in the world with access to 700km of piste serviced by 200 lifts with all areas being above 2000m resultng in fantastic ski conditions all season through.  The fantastic diversity of terrain offers challenges afresh for all levels of skiers and snowboarders with unrivalled off piste conditions providing lots of fun in the powder!

Despite being one of the largest towns in the Alps it is not a purpose built ski resort, meaning that it has retained all the beauty and charm of a traditional mountain town, with its beautiful architecture, cobbled streets and pretty street cafes and bustling atmosphere.  In addition to the delights of the town and ski conditions visitors to Chamonix can also take one of Europe’s highest cable car up to the Aigulle du Midi at 3,842m where you can view the summit of Mont Blanc – this also gives access to the world famous off piste ski descent of the Vallee Blanche.
