During the summer of 2007, it is going through extensive refurbishment works and promises to offer superb, spacious accommodation for up to 9 guests. It is just a few minutes walk from the main square and lifts which link into the huge Three Valleys circuit.

The chalet is situated next door to Chalet Nid d'Aigle and built in savoyarde style retaining many of the original features found in the old village of Moriond/Courchevel 1650.  It is set in peaceful surroundings and enjoys fantastic panoramic views across the Courchevel Valley.  The chalet which is laid out over 3 floors is furnished to a high standard and boasts a super open-plan living and dining room with open fire and balcony.  It also has the added advantage of a games room and hammam in which to relax and wind down after a hard day on the slopes.

Chalet Aigle D'Or is run by one Chalet Manager and one assistant who live in separate apartment below the chalet.

We consider the quality of cooking to be one of the most important aspects of a chalet holiday, therefore a lot of focus is directed at ensuring that our guests receive delicious home-cooked food and wines which have been specially selected by us.  Fully catered holidays include cooked and continental breakfasts, afternoon tea and evening meals served on 6 days. The Powder White chalet staff have one day off per week.

 

Your holiday will be begin on your first evening with complimentary champagne and canapes.  Thereafter, each day will begin with a hearty breakfast – You have the choice of an English bacon and eggs or Continental Croissants breakfast, both served with freshly-brewed tea and coffee, cereals, porridge, freshly-baked bread and jams, yoghurts, chilled fruit juice and fresh fruit.

 

When you return from a hard day on the piste, you can collapse into a comfy chair and help yourself to an afternoon tea of freshly-baked cake or home made biscuits with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. 

In the evenings, we create a more casual dinner party approach so that you can fully relax, unwind and enjoy a meal at your own pace at a time to suit your group.  The evening will start with compliementary wine and canapes followed by a creative and delicious 3-course meal with a choice of both red and white wine. For those who have a little space for more, there will be a selection of local cheeses available and the evening is then finished off with fresh coffee and chocolates.

Deposit Details:
A deposit of 150 pounds per person is payable at the time of booking. Full payment of the balance as shown on your confirmation invoice is due 10 weeks prior to departure. Any balance paid by credit card will be subject to a 2.5% administration charge.
