It’s exactly 120 mins and 30 secs until your body can be unleashed to catch up with your wandering mind and officially leave the building! The next addition to the Independent Mountain website pretty much completes our coverage of the Chamonix valley, and we will be developing our directory of properties and services available in Argentiere over the next few months!! Here is some information for you to see on Argentiere:
Argentière is located near the head of the valley of Chamonix. It is connected with Switzerland by the pass over the Col des Montets, and the Col de la Forclaz to Martigny in the Rhône valley. Argentière is the starting point for the cable car up to Les Grands Montets (3,295m), a skiing area famous for its steep and demanding slopes, both on-piste as well as off-piste.
