The French Ski-Joring Championships returns to Les Arcs in January for the sixth consecutive year on 31st January. Professional teams from across Europe join together in this unusual sport, where a skier is pulled by a horse, to take part in slalom, speed and handling tests. Mid January in Les Arcs sees the Path of Vaugel 2009 come to resort on 18th January! This annual ski-mountaineering race is an event for all with both professional and amateur skiers being invited to take part. A great event to be involved in as a competitor or spectator and one that helps promote good relations between holiday-makers and residents.
