A day filled with traditional activities and trades comes to Chatel with the village festival La Saint Laurent. La Saint Laurent is the patron saint of the parish and is the cause of celebration for all local residents and visitors to the area on this day.
People attending the event will enjoy a whole host of village fun and activities with a procession of floats, demonstrations from the local villagers showcasing traditional trades and a host of musical entertainment creating a real festival feel throughout the day.

The event is supported by the Youth and Sports Ministry and brings together a range of French sporting stars including 20 French champions from 20 different sports and 20 hopefuls chosen and sponsored by the champions themselves.
