Since the year 2000, a new sport has been developing fast - street golf. In this sport that has been directly imported from Germany, immaculate greens are exchanged for the streets. With an infinite choice of potential courses, the only rule to be followed is safety first. Traditional golfing equipment is used but with safe plastic balls. Tignes, France La Grand Motte glacier offers skiing above Tignes from 3,030m-3,455m with access by both an underground funicular and fast but more scenic chair lifts. 
There is a good variety of terrain with red, blue and black runs and a mixture of chair lifts and drag lifts. Long descents all the way back to Tignes are possible during the winter months. Click here for accommodation in Tignes
Stubai, Austria The Stubai Glacier is the largest glacier in Austria, 20 minutes from the resort of Neustift. In August, for the first time, the French Alps will host an Intelligent Sport® event! Tignes will be welcoming some of the most prestigious French companies, including Adecco and IBM France, to the Tignes Challenge presented by La Tribune which will be taking place August 27th - 29th.
Guy Forget, former tennis champion and current French Davis Cup captain will also take part in the new and exciting Intelligent Sport® event with his own team of VIP’s.

Val d’Isère reinvents the 4-wheel drive and off-road motor show created in 1984.
A new name, new organisation and a new concept are all planned for one of the main events of the alpine summer season.
Car manufacturers and retailers will be housed in a 9000sq m village on the wide plain of La Daille. The latest models will be displayed and numerous innovations presented.
