After years of comments it appears that the huge male to female ratio has finally tipped the scales with Morzine being renamed as Manzine!
Yes, that’s right, someone (probably of the non official variety) has taken the renaming into their own hands after noticing the distinct lack of female presence in resort and in turn has re christened the town for all to see! The Pleney Stade now reads
Manzine rather than the usual Morzine-Avoriaz!!

Bikers and saddles will be at the ready on the 9th August as the Morzine/Avoriaz road bike climb comes to the Portes du Soleil!
Riders from all over will get together to compete along the long and winding roads to Avoriaz as they try to beat the world record set in 1979 by Bernard Hinault during the Tour de France.
This is a fantastic sporting event for riders and spectators alike and definitely one for your sporting diary!!

The legendary Fete de Lac on Lake Montriond is a must see event for everyones social calendar this summer!
