Location, location, location … With its 5 bedrooms the chalet sleeps 10 or more on request and is well situated for access to the village and also a quiet nights sleep if needed.
We love the sauna, jacuzzi bath, heated boot room and of course the new huge TV as soon as we bring it over. The communal spaces in the chalet are fantastic; a lounge with comfy seating for all, a cosy wood burner and a massive authentic alpine communal dining table.
One of the newest destinations to hit the ski world, Bansko has emerged as Bulgaria’s premier ski resort! Slowly established over the past ten years, recent developments in the area have resulted in Bansko being the largest resort offering the variety of its alpine competitors for a fraction of the price.
Located near River Glazane at 925m above sea level, Bansko nestles beneath the shadows of the breathtaking Pirin Mountain whose summit rises above the area at an impressive 2, 914 meters. Chalin Valog and Shiligarnika are the two main ski areas lying at 10km above the town with the new and efficient gondola lift transporting visitors to the slopes within a 25 minute ride.
The chalet built entirely of wood in the Savoyarde style is designed to combine traditional elegance with modern levels of comfort.
Located in a discreet residential quarter the chalet is just a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Its situation offers uninhibited, stunning views of the snow capped peaks and the valley stretching out below. The large picture windows and high ceilings give a wonderful feeling of light and space, which combined with the traditional log fire and solid oak furniture provide a warm and comfortable retreat The balcony hot tub is hugely popular with guests and it’s not difficult to see why, breathing vital new life and energy into weary limbs it has become a near essential part of any chalet holiday.

It’s exactly 120 mins and 30 secs until your body can be unleashed to catch up with your wandering mind and officially leave the building! For the poor souls, or what us 9-5ers prefer to term “crazy fools”, amongst us working until the unsightly hour of 6pm, sadly, you have slightly more time and boredom to kill.
