After a summer of training, i’m heading off to Africa to Climb Kilimanjaro next week. At 5895m Kilimanjaro is pretty high, and they actually have a pretty low success rate due to the numbers affected by altitude sickness, but i’m going to do my best to fly the Independent Mountain flag on the top and hopefully get to see the glacier in the crater up top!! WIth just 7 days before I leave, keep an eye on the blog to hear about all the preparations and see how it all goes!!
