For the third consecutive year, Morzine will propose a true cocktail of eclecticism with two evenings live astonishing… After having accommodated Miss K, one of the female revelations of the French scene in 2007, Morzine Live concentrates its programming on the new talents and other musical revelations.

MELL (décoiffées Songs) Last thundering album Petri of Punk-Rock’n'roll influenced jazz, manouche and energy… a clashing cocktail. On scene, MELL reveals an unforeseeable personality and surprising sound improvisations which led it to occur with artists such as Camille, Brigitte Fontaine, Wampas or San Sévérino. Argentière is located near the head of the valley of Chamonix. It is connected with Switzerland by the pass over the Col des Montets, and the Col de la Forclaz to Martigny in the Rhône valley. Argentière is the starting point for the cable car up to Les Grands Montets (3,295m), a skiing area famous for its steep and demanding slopes, both on-piste as well as off-piste.

Val-d’Isère is most recognisable by its charming “chalet” architecture. Along with nearby Tignes the area forms part of the “l’Espace Killy”, the self-titled “Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World.” Beauty aside, the combined space is one of the largest ski areas in the world. There’s a snow alert for Morzine with 40 - 50cm forecast between Sunday and Wednesday. The conditions are fantastic at the moment, but it is cold, so if you’re coming out to the resort next week then make sure to bring lots of layers!!
